The 13th annual Bennington Rhubarb Festival, a fundraiser for GEP Dodge Library Building Fund, took place Saturday despite the weather. Residents braved rain, mud and cool temperatures to sample homemade rhubarb pie, meet local livestock, buy items at the Rhubarb General Store, and hit the library book sale.

“Many thanks to everyone who came and supported us and braved the weather; it was a lot of fun,” said organizer Melissa Clark.

The library hopes to raise funds to make the historic building accessible in the future.
