The Bennington Recreation Department brought back the town’s Haunted Hayride on Saturday and hosted the annual trunk-or-treat. An estimated 300 people attended. 

The BenningtonSelect Board, Bennington Fire and Rescue, Town of Bennington, Bennington Police Department, Bennington Highway Department, Bennington Transfer Station and the Pierce Elementary School PTO and contributed to the event. Sponsors included Alberto’s Italian Restaurant and the AntrimDunkin’. 

“We are so grateful to all the town groups that helped out, to our sponsors, and to all of our participants who showed up, and we would especially like to thank Shelley Griswold, who made this comeback a reality,” said Melissa Clark of the Bennington Recreation Department.
