The Mansfield Public Library, 5 Main St., will host UNH Master Gardener Gail Coffey for "Birdscaping: Landscaping for the Birds" on Thursday, March 20, at 6:30 p.m. at Temple Town Hall.

Coffey will discuss how planting native perennials, shrubs and trees can create lasting habitat improvements for birds while enhancing landscapes. She will share examples and tips for getting started.

Coffey completed the UNH Master Gardener Program in 2023 and has been eco-landscaping for 20 years, focusing on creating bird and insect habitats. Her Hollis property was recognized as a Certified Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation. She has worked in wildlife conservation with The Nature Conservancy and NH Audubon and was an environmental educator at Beaver Brook Association.

The event is free and open to the public. For information, visit templenh.org/mansfield-public-library or call 603-878-3100.
