The ConVal School board will hold a listening session on the district’s reconfiguration study Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m. at the ConVal SAU conference room behind South Meadow Middle School at 106 Hancock Road.

The meeting will also be live-streamed on YouTube at youtube.com/@ConValEvents. All residents of the ConVal district are invited to watch or attend. 

The board will be reviewing and discussing the district’s consolidation and reconfiguration study project so far. In the spring, the board hired Prismatic Consulting to research and evaluate different options to address under-enrollment in the district. In September and October, Prismatic hosted public meetings in all nine ConVal towns, and provided two online surveys and an online forum designed for the public to give feedback, express concerns and share ideas about the issue. 

The School Board will review the activities that have already taken place, discuss actions in progress and lay out the next steps in the project. The board will also present the goals of the project as well as review the phases and the schedule moving forward, including timeline and dates. This meeting does not include a public comment session.
