Fidium work starting soon in Francestown

Fidium is bringing multi-gig fiber internet to more than 650 homes and businesses in Francestown. Fiber infrastructure construction is expected to start as early as Jan. 15, with specific timelines varying by location.

Construction crews will install new fiber optic lines along roads and public utility areas, working within the public right-of-way or utility easements. This may involve digging, climbing utility poles and temporary traffic detours, noise or dust. Paint markings or flags will indicate active construction zones and will be removed once work is complete. Crews will minimize disruptions and clean up promptly.

Updates on progress will be shared with town officials and residents via mailers, door-hangers and construction alerts. Fidium representatives will visit neighborhoods to provide information and notify residents when service is ready for installation.
