Franklin Pierce University’s Rindge campus welcomed the Class of 2028 for their move-in day Saturday.

Students hail from 25 states, Guam and 11 countries, and were greeted by new President Peter Eden, marking his first move-in day at Franklin Pierce since taking the helm in July

“Stay positive, let us know if you need anything,” he said. “Welcome to Raven Nation!”

Health sciences major and member of the women’s hockey team Hailey Anderson, who drove with her mother from Greenville, S.C.,, noted that the campus felt like home.

“I chose Franklin Pierce because it reminds me of growing up in northern Ontario,” she said.

Blake Santana, a non-traditional residential student majoring sports media and member of the Raven Marching Band who moved early to practice, raved about their experience so far, saying, “I love it.”

“Franklin Pierce has everything [my daughter Elizabeth] needs to thrive,” said Amber Malloy. “It’s a great match.”

Ray Lerette, father of Maisie, who will major in health sciences and play softball, said the move-in experience and environment have been “awesome. Truly fantastic.”
