The Monadnock Center for History and Culture, in partnership with High Cairn Films and the Peterborough Community Theatre, will present a free screening of the documentary short "Good-Bye to a House" on Friday, March 21, at 7 p.m. at the Peterborough Community Theatre.

The film tells the story of a recently demolished New England farmhouse at the Seaver Farm in Harrisville, reflecting on history, change and memory through the voice of someone who once lived there. Inspired by Jodi Farwell’s 2020 essay in "Common Threads," the documentary captures a sense of place and the passage of time.

Following the screening, cinematographer and director Chris Hardee will take audience questions. DVD copies of the film will be available for purchase.

Admission is free. For information, visit monadnockcenter.org.
