Hancock Town Library, 25 Main St., will host “Collaboration: Photography and Painting,” an exhibit featuring Hancock artists Mary Ball and Jean Mann, from May 31 to June 25. An opening reception will be held in the Daniels Room on Sunday, June 8, from 4 to 6 p.m.

Ball’s photography focuses on New England landscapes and coastal scenes, especially from the Monadnock region and Maine. Her work often highlights flowers, waterscapes and mirrored images, and many pieces are printed on glass.

Mann, a painter and art educator, draws inspiration from nature and works in various settings, often interpreting Ball’s photographs in paint. She is a member of Monadnock Art, curates the gallery at Del Rossi’s in Dublin and exhibits her work throughout the region.

The exhibit is open during library hours of Monday and Wednesday 2 to 6 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call 603-525-4411 to confirm availability.
