A still-life watercolor class focused on botanical art will take place Saturday, Nov. 2, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Jaffrey Civic Center, 40 Main St., Jaffrey.

Artist Olha Necheporenko will guide participants in painting fall-inspired elements like viburnum berries, dried flowers, forest mushrooms and pine cones. The class will focus on essential watercolor techniques such as creating volume, texture and working with color and detail.

Designed for beginners, by the end of the session, students will leave with a completed artworky. All materials are included, and the cost of the class is $75 per student.
