Jaffrey has been recognized as a Housing Champion through the Bureau of Economic Affairs’ InvestNH program.  Awards are granted on a point scale with 80 points being threshold, and Jaffrey achieved a 104-point score.

To qualify for the designation, communities must provide documentation which demonstrates that zoning and land use regulations promote workforce housing, train members of land use boards on appropriate procedures and laws that apply to board members, implement sewer and water infrastructure improvements and implement public transportation and walkability infrastructure like sidewalks.
