Kim Varney Chandler to talk covered bridges in Hancock

On Tuesday, May 7, at 7 p.m., the Historical Society of Hancock will present “Covered Bridges Near Hancock, Past and Present” with Kim Varney Chandler at the society building, 7 Main St.

New Hampshire is home to over 61 covered bridges, 46 of which are over a century old. Varney will present an overview of these bridges and shares information on the several Hancock-area covered bridges that have been lost to time, as well as the Hancock-Greenfield Bridge.

The program is open to the public.
