Odette Butler of Hancock, Peterborough Fire Chief Ed Walker named to Leadership New Hampshire program

Odette Butler of Hancock and Peterborough Fire Chief Ed Walker have been named to the 38-member Leadership New Hampshire Class of 2025.

Leadership New Hampshire is a statewide program whose mission is “building a community of informed and engaged leaders.” Participants are chosen in a competitive process to take part in the 10-month program, which begins in September with an opening retreat in Greenfield.

Butler is executive director for Vermont Wilderness School after having served for 17 years she as the CEO of the Breast Cancer Detection Center in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Walker has more than 40 years of fire, emergency management and emergency medical services experience, and has been the fire chief/emergency management director for the Town of Peterborough for the past 10 years.
