The Lyndeborough Historical Society’s fall yard sale will be Saturday, Oct. 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the former town barn in Lyndeborough Center. Proceeds go toward the purchase of the Center Church building.

Donations will be accepted on Friday, Oct. 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the barn. The society is not accepting clothing, books (donate them to the library) or large pieces of furniture since they do not have adequate storage space for unsold items.

Donated items so far include antiques and collectibles, children’s toys, housewares, china and glass, tools (both new and antique), chairs of all kinds and more. Copies of the new Lyndeborough history will also be available.

Society members report that they are about two-thirds of the way to reaching their goal.
