On Saturday, Oct. 19 at 9:45 a.m., the Monadnock Writers’ Group will host young adult novelist Terry Farish and her co-author Lochan Sharma at the Peterborough Town Library, 2 Concord St., as part of its monthly speaker series. The free event offers an opportunity to hear how their novel, “Go Home,” addresses immigration, prejudice, and belonging in rural New Hampshire.

Farish, an award-winning author from Portsmouth, is known for her novels exploring cross-cultural understanding. Sharma, born in Nepal to Bhutanese refugees, draws on his personal experiences as an immigrant in the United States, which are reflected in the novel’s characters.
