The Rindge Historical Society will close its Music at the Museum season on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 1 p.m. with an open mic event featuring singer-songwriter duo Garrels and Anderson.

The event will be held at the Rindge Meeting House, 6 Payson Hill Road, Rindge. A $5 donation at the door benefits the Historical Society’s museum. Fall desserts and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. Jake Garrels and Susan Lee Anderson, known for their American folk-inspired music with elements of blues, pop and Americana, have been performers across New England since 2012.

The event is hosted by Ray Siekierski, with sound support from Mark Cantrill. Anyone interested in performing should send email to Siekierski at nooniekirk52@gmail.com. The open mic is open to musicians, poets and spoken-word artists.
