ConVal, Mascenic track athletes compete in New England Championships

Several members of the ConVal boys’ track team competed in the New England Championships on Saturday in New Britain, Conn.

William Simard finished his high school running career placing ninth in New England in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 4 minutes, 22.16 seconds. Ross Stephens finished 11th in New England in the 400-meter dash with a time of 49.66 seconds, and the boys’ 4x400m relay team of Simard, Griffin Schultz, Sam Davis and Stephens finished with a time of 3:35.37.

Erin O’Shea of Mascenic competed at New Englands, running a personal best of 5:19.34 in the 1,600 meters.
