More than 300 gathered at the Peterborough stoplights on Saturday as part of a nationwide rally titled “No Kings Day." Saturday was the 250th anniversary of the April 19, 1775, “shot heard 'round the world” that sparked the American Revolution.

A pro-democracy rally is held every Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Peterborough stoplights.
