Raelin Deschenes, 8, of Rindge, finished third in overall points for the Claremont Motorsport Rookie Champ A division for go-karting.
Deschenes ended the season tied for second, and placed third due to win rate, which is the tiebreaker. Out of her 13 races, she placed in the top five 11 times, with seven in the top three.
Rookie Champ A division includes drivers from age 5 to 8, and next year, Deschenes will move up in division to the Sportsmen B division.
