Families played lawn games, met with police and firefighters and got to explore their vehicles, did crafts and had barbecue and shaved ice on the Rindge common Friday night as part of the Rindge Family Fest. The event doubles as the town’s Fourth of July celebration, complete with fireworks at dusk.
