The Francestown Old Meeting House season of free Sundays at 4 performances begins July 7 and continues through Aug. 25.

The July 7 concert opener features Cosy Sheridan, a songwriter whose music includes ragtime guitar and social satire. On July 14, Monadnock Music offers a mix of classic and contemporary composers.

On July 21, The Kingsnakes will perform music reflecting the jazz, blues and the roots of American folk music from the 1920s and 1930s.

July’s performances end on July 28 with Rachel Clemente, a Vermont-based pedal and traditional Scottish harpist. Clemente discovered her love of Scottish music at the age of 5 through events and competitions held by the Scottish Harp Society of America and the Ohio Scottish Arts School.

The series continues Aug. 4 with The Matt Savage Trio. Savage is a jazz pianist and composer who wrote almost all the songs on his albums, several of which have been used in documentaries, on websites, in school music curricula and in government educational material.

On Aug. 11, children’s musician and therapist Miss Julieann will offer therapeutic songs in a concert for children, parents, teachers and therapists.

On Aug. 18, Ishna, a contemporary Irish folk band, will perform the music and stories of Ireland.

The summer concerts close on Aug 25 with High Horse, a progressive-acoustic band based in Boston. The band performs a blend of Celtic and classical music infused with the energy of alternative rock.
