Temple held its annual Memorial Day parade Sunday afternoon.

The procession, consisting of local veterans, the Temple Volunteer Fire Department and its auxiliary and the Temple Band, marched up into the center of town and onto the common.

At the common, the Rev. Chris Owen of Temple Congregational Church recited Abraham Lincoln’s “Gettysburg Address.” The ceremony was followed by a concert on the town common by the Temple Band.
