Letter: Support Jaffrey-Rindge CTE project

The proposed CTE addition for the Jaffrey-Rindge School District is an amazing opportunity. This will open doors for students that otherwise wouldn’t be available.

Our community is comprised of a lot of people who work in the trades. Having this CTE addition will give those who want to take one of these trades a jump-start in entering the work force. This will gain interest in our school district and set us apart. Some students aren’t interested in pursuing college, and this gives them another option. Perhaps students that were thinking of dropping out would reconsider if these trades were available through the school.

I think that the timing to do this CTE addition is now. With the help from state funding, it makes this project easier to swallow. Please remember our children and what a great future this can bring our Jaffrey-Rindge School District.
