The Peterborough Players have named Victoria Zischke as its new managing director.
Zischke joined the Players this summer, with a comedic turn in “Noises Off!” and singing as the Housekeeper in “Man of La Mancha.” Her career spans cities that include Milwaukee, Denver and Houston and includes a background as a performer, manager and professor.
“There is something special about the Peterborough Players,” stated Zischke. “There is a great deal of heart and soul here.”
Now working closely with new Artistic Director Brendon Fox, Zischke has embraced the Players' history and the Peterborough community.
“I was hooked by the Peterborough magic from the start,” she stated.
To ensure a smooth transition, interim Producing Artistic Director Charles Morey will remain through the end of October.
