The decision of the ConVal School Committee to recommend closing the local elementary school, and then the process to consider leaving the ConVal district after the recommendation failed, has made for some contentious discussions and meetings over the last 18 months.
Brooke Landry of Dublin and Allison VanHoogen of Temple were named to the dean's list for the fall 2024 semester at Cedarville University. To qualify, students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher while completing a minimum of 12 credit hours.
The recent article (“Dublin solar project put on hold due to funding concerns”) highlighting the hold on the installment of solar panels on Dublin Fire Department's roof is disappointing to say the least. Hardworking community members worked countless weeks to put together a proposal that gained community support, submitted a grant that was approved and funded and eagerly awaited the project only to have it put on hold.
